As part of the team, your responsibilities will include:
Are you organized, proactive, and passionate about supporting the animal welfare community? ABWAK is looking for a new Council Member to take on the vital role of managing merchandise!
As part of the team, your responsibilities will include:
📦 Stock Management: Oversee and audit stock of publications and merchandise, and manage the purchase of additional stock and new items (approved by Council).
📚 Publications: Assist with or coordinate the creation of new publications when agreed.
💰 Budgeting: Handle budgeting, accounting, and reporting, including recommending stock purchases and setting retail prices (with market research as needed).
📧 Communication: Manage timely responses to enquiries and orders, and liaise with suppliers.
🌐 Website Updates: Work with the website administrator to process orders and make updates.
🗣 Representation: Attend Council meetings and Symposium events to sell merchandise.
🏠 Essential Requirement: You must have a place to store stock and easy access to ship out orders.
