The 6th International Congress on Zoo Keeping 14 - 18 October 2018 Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The 6th ICZ Congress is fast approaching with the ICZ committee and the staff at our host Temaikèn Bioparc all working hard to make this our best ever!
Our first bilingual congress opens up the opportunity for speakers of both English and Spanish to attend and present with simultaneous translations via UN style head-sets. This presents an amazing opportunity for networking and learning about keeping advances worldwide.
Registrations are now open with a very reasonable price of $US450 (up to 30 June) and $US510 (until 7 October 2018). This includes transport from hotels in Escobar to the venue as well as meals, breaks and events during the congress. Looking forward to that Tango!! So register now and beat the rush.
One of the events will include a silent auction and we request all delegates bring an item to contribute. The proceeds from this will assist ICZ in its work moving forward.
From the registrations we will be contributing $1 per person to a native plants conservation project in Osununú Natural Reserve, in Misiones province, Argentina. We will also be aiming to be as “green” as possible.
The “Call for papers” is now open for papers, posters and workshops until 30 June 2018. Abstracts will be accepted in both English and Spanish.
The ICZ is also offering a limited number of scholarships, with the focus on people in the America’s region, who are in need of financial assistance to attend.
Finally, there are a number of sponsorship and exhibitor opportunities.
For more information email the the congress coordinator.
For information on the congress, scholarships, call for papers and to register visit the congress website or follow the link from the ICZ website.
We will regularly update the website with information on speakers and other congress information as it comes to hand.
